Interesting storytelling from a male point of view, May 15, 2003
It was unclear whether or not he was a baptized member of Jehovah's Witnesses. He certainly did have some interesting stories to tell. I found his opinion about the feminine appeal of Witness women quite funny. He is definitely not a feminist.
I would have appreciated a chapter on his methodology and detail about the author himself. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I wanted to know what his "status" in relation to members of my group was. All I could conclude was that he was at least someone who attended meetings, but possibly not baptized. Curiously, he did not list recent publications (up to the date of publication of his book.)
